At our March meeting, Baltimore County Councilman Julian E. Jones, Jr. addressed the club on behalf of Senator Sanders and Clinton campaign volunteer Kathy Bustraan spoke in favor of Secretary Clinton. In April, club members had the opportunity to speak in favor of Democratic candidates they support, including Secretary Clinton, Senator Sanders and California businessman Rocky de la Fuente.

At the April 12, 2016 meeting of the Central Baltimore County Democratic Club, club members voted to endorse Hillary Clinton for President.

 

At our March meeting, Baltimore County Councilman Julian E. Jones, Jr. addressed the club on behalf of Senator Sanders and Clinton campaign volunteer Kathy Bustraan spoke in favor of Secretary Clinton. In April, club members had the opportunity to speak in favor of Democratic candidates they support, including Secretary Clinton, Senator Sanders and California businessman Rocky de la Fuente.

By secret ballot, Secretary Clinton received the vote of 76% of club members, while Senator Bernie Sanders received 22%.  Club bylaws require that candidates receive at least 60% of votes in order to be endorsed.

 

The CBCDC has also endorsed Chris Van Hollen for US Senate.  We urge our members to support the candidacies of both Secretary Clinton and Congressman Van Hollen leading up until the April 26 primary.
