Hope your 2020 is off to a good start.  A couple of announcements as we kick off the new year.

January Meeting - Please join us on Tuesday, January 14th as we host a forum for the candidates running to fill the congressional seat vacated by the untimely death of Rep. Elijah Cummings.  Should be a lively meeting.  As always, we meet at 301 Allegheny Avenue, Towson, Maryland.  Doors open at 6:30 pm and the meeting starts at 7:00 pm.  Hope to see you there.

Dues - Dues renew every January and we would be grateful if you would submit your 2020 dues payment this month.  Dues remain $20 for 2020.  You can submit a dues payment online via PayPal by clicking on  this link and clicking the "donate" button.  If you prefer, you can mail a check in the amount of $20 payable to the Central Baltimore County Democratic Club to the Club at the following address:  P.O. Box 5194, Lutherville, Maryland 21094.  As a third option, you can pay your dues in person at the January meeting. 

State Senate D11 - The Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee (BCDSCC) has started the process of filling the vacancy resulting from the resignation of Senator Zirkin in District 11.  Applicants must be registered Democratic voters, a resident of Maryland for a minimum of one year, a resident of Baltimore County's Legislative District 11 for a minimum of six months and must be 25 years of age or older.  Interested individuals should submit an application, a resume, and a letter of interest indicating your professional, civic, and political experience.  Materials should be emailed to Info [at] BaltimoreCountyDems.com with the subject line "BCDSCC Open Legislative Seat" or mailed USPS to BCDSCC, P.O. Box 19092, Towson, MD 21284, to be received by COB no later than January 17, 2020.
