A reminder that our September meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10th.  We will feature a discussion with labor leaders from TABCO, National Nurses Union, the American Federation of Musicians, and SEIU 500 to discuss their political priorities for the upcoming legislative session, the 2020 elections and beyond.  Please join us for this discussion and bring your questions.

We will also have an opportunity to hear from the declared candidates for the House of Delegates from district 42A.   After they address the Club we take an endorsement vote.  As a reminder, to vote for the candidate of your choice your  dues must be current as of 30 days prior to the vote and you must be present in person.  Candidates will need to earn the vote of 60% of those present and voting to achieve the CBCDC's endorsement.

Announcements from the Central Committee

Two Vacancies on Baltimore County Democratic Central Committee and Two Vacancies in the House of Delegates

We are looking to add members to the BCDSCC for Districts 7 and 42A and to fill two positions in the House of Delegates in Districts 8 and 42A. The Central Committee members of those districts are charged with reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, and making recommendations to the full Committee for a vote. Deadlines for application materials are September 9 for the District 7 Central Committee position, and September 20, 2019 for the House of Delegates positions for both districts 8 and 42A. Awards

The Central Committee is accepting nominations of outstanding individuals who deserve to be recognized at the Unity Dinner next month.  Nominations are being considered in the categories of Leadership, Labor and Democratic Advocate.  Members are welcome to nominate deserving individuals.  If you are interested in receiving the nomination form, please reply to this email and we will forward the form to you.  All nominations are due to the Central Committee by midnight on September 16th.
