Friends,
A couple of announcements in follow up to our August meeting:
The Unity Dinner
The 2019 Baltimore County Democratic Unity Dinner will be held
on Thursday, October 17th, starting at 6 pm at Martin’s
Eastwind, 9000 Pulaski Highway, Baltimore, Maryland 21220. The
keynote speaker will be Attorney General Maura Healy of
Massachusetts, who will be introduced by our own attorney
general, Brian Frosh. Other speakers include County Executive
Johnny Oleszewski, Jr. and House Speaker Adrienne Jones.
Tickets are $75 each, or a table of ten for $700. All proceeds
will be used to pay the rent and keep our headquarters office at
301 Allegheny Avenue, Towson, Maryland 21204 open through the
November 2020 election. In addition to using our headquarters
as a meeting space, we will use the office as a phone bank
location for calling into the battleground states of Ohio,
Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina
and possibly even Texas and Arizona. We will also use our
parking lot as a meeting point for weekend canvassing
expeditions into Pennsylvania. To buy your ticket or for more
information, contact your local Central Committee member or Noel
Levy by email at megamapster [at] verizon.net or by phone at
410-486-1541.
Volunteers Needed for the State Fair
The Central Committee is still looking for a few volunteers who
can help to staff the Maryland Democratic Party's booth at the
State Fair. Everyone who volunteers will receive a free ticket to
the Fair. If you can help, please sign up here.
Thank you all.
Kathy
