ELECTION OF OFFICERS - Note nominations now due Friday, May 5th at 6:00 pm

As we announced at the meeting of the Central Baltimore County Democratic Club (CBCDC) on April 17th, the CBCDC will hold an election to fill the Club's officer and board positions.  Note that the election will be held at the next meeting of the CBCDC on May 9, 2016 (a previous announcement had an incorrect date).  Everyone with an interest in serving as a Club officer or as a Director at Large is encouraged to consider running for election. 

To be considered as a candidate, a nominee must be a member of the Club in good standing  and must have been a member of the CBCDC for at least six months. Candidates must be nominated.  

The Nominating Committee is accepting nominations of candidates to serve as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and as Directors at Large.  Club members can nominate themselves or another member of the CBCDC.  Nominations must contain the name of the person submitting the nomination, name of candidate (if different from the name of the person submitting the nomination), email address of candidate, and the office the candidate wants to hold. Nominations can be submitted to either cbcdcnominations [at] gmail.comor to any member of the Nominating Committee. The members of the Nominating Committee are Kathy Bustraan, Ruth Goldstein, Ben Lawrence, Noel Levy, and Chris Tsui.  Nominations are due by 6:00 pm on on Friday,  May 5, 2017. 

To be fair to everyone, all candidates for officer and Director at Large positions must be nominated through this process, including current office holders who are seeking reelection. 

Remember: the deadline for nominations is Friday, May 5, 2017 at 6:00 pm.  We look forward to your nominations.
