Message from former CBCDC president Delegate Steve Lafferty
From: Central Baltimore County Democratic Club (cbcdccbcdc.org)
Date: Thu, 11 Nov 2010 19:35:47 -0800 (PST)

Dear CBCDC Members and Friends,

I want to express my thanks and gratitude to the Club and its members for your help and support. Being re-elected to serve as a Delegate in the 42nd district is an honor and quite humbling. I appreciate your confidence in me.

I also want to specifically thank my wife, Betsy, for her unwavering commitment and support. I could not have won without her. Additionally, many thanks to Anne Neal, who stepped up as my Campaign Manager and did a terrific job keeping all the moving parts in sync and ensuring that all the necessary work, got done.

We, as Democrats, face real challenges ahead. As Matt Crenson pointed out, the national mood and anger infiltrates the voters in our area and State. We cannot afford to be complacent just because Governor O’Malley won by such a big margin – and even won Baltimore County. I ask you to continue your commitment to seeing that Democrats are elected in 2012 and 2014. Please continue to participate in the Club and associated Democratic Party activities.

Once again, thank you for your help with my re-election. You can count on me to work with you over the next four years.

Delegate Steve Lafferty
